France
JULY 9-13

Our time in France felt like two very different experiences in one.
Paris was loud, busy, and full of the things we’d always pictured— cafés spilling onto sidewalks, beautiful buildings and gardens, and the feeling that the city is bursting with life. It pushed our energy a little, but it also gave us some of the most memorable moments of the trip.
Then we arrived in the countryside near St. Fargeau, and everything slowed down. Surrounded by fields and fresh air, we finally had space to breathe. The kids started bonding with the other travelers, dinners lingered a little longer, and the trip began to feel less like a whirlwind and more like something we were sharing together.
